Mesa, Ariz. — An Arizona state court jury slammed Landstar System Inc. with a $19.25 million verdict on Friday, finding the trucking company is responsible for the death of a driver who lost control of his car following a tire blowout and collided with a tractor-trailer parked on the side of an interstate highway.

J&J, Ethicon Rocked By $5.7M Verdict In Bellwether Pelvic Mesh Trial

Bakersfield, Calif.  A California state court jury socked Johnson & Johnson's Ethicon unit with a $5.7 million verdict on Thursday in a bellwether pelvic mesh trial, finding the “TVT Abbrevo” sling system was defectively designed and that the company failed to adequately warn patients and doctors of the product’s risks.
