R.J. Reynolds](http://www.courtroomview.com/proceedings/willis-v-rj-reynolds-trial-2010-09-13)**.

Jimmy Willis suffered from COPD and multiple types of cancer. As a result of a throat surgery for laryngeal cancer, Mr. Willis spoke through a hole in his throat.

The jury found that an addiction to smoking was not the legal cause of Mr. Willis' death.
