Fried Goldberg attorneys have earned a reputation for turning powerful closing arguments into blockbuster verdicts across a range of cases. And on Thursday December 10, at 2 p.m. Eastern, CVN will present a free webinar featuring Michael Goldberg, along with Joe Fried, Brad Thomas, and Eric Rogers, as they detail the themes and techniques common to four of their latest trial wins.

In “The Art of the Close,” the attorneys will use CVN trial video to dissect their approaches to the closings that won:

A $25 million verdict, and an ultimate $18.75 million judgment, against the Metropolitan Atlanta Regional Transit Authority, or MARTA, for the brain damage a woman suffered in a fall from a paratransit bus.  — Johnson v. MARTA.

An $8 million verdict against a trucking company for the crash that injured a motorcyclist’s wrist and ankle. — Stevens v. JRK Trucking, et al.

A $5 million verdict against a party rental company for the traumatic brain injury a teen suffered in a “bubble soccer” game. — Reyes-Quezada v. Game Truck of Georgia, LLC.

A $2.67 million verdict for the debilitating injuries a patient suffered in a fall from a hospital wheelchair. — Byrom v. Douglas Hospital, Inc.

Those are some of the major verdicts that have placed the Atlanta firm’s attorneys among the best in the country. They’ll do a deep dive into those closings and how to approach the elements critical to any successful close: from effectively telling your client’s damages story to making the most of your closing rebuttal. They’ll also set aside plenty of time for Q&A.

The live webinar is brought to you FREE by ChartSquad, the innovative, patient-based records service that allows patients to seamlessly share their medical records with attorneys.
